Hayley Holt

Owner/Director/Instructor

Mrs. Hayley is from Madison, AL and currently resides in Athens, AL. Mrs. Hayley started dance at the age of two years old and continued dance for 15 years with local dance studios — Pandas Studio of Dance, Bobbie Hall's School of Dance and Heidi Knight School of Dance. She was a member of the Bob Jones High School Dance Team and also part of the Universal Dance Association All Star Team. Mrs. Hayley has trained from many popular dance icons such as Paula Abdul, Chris Judd and many others. Mrs. Hayley has performed in many recitals & competed in various dance competitions where she has received many awards. She is married to Brandon Holt and they have 2 sons Keaton & Madden

Bethany Johnston

Mrs. Bethany Johnston has been a dance instructor at Studio H since 2016. She started dance at age 4 and continued through High School. Mrs. Bethany was on Sparkman High School’s Dance team and is a NDA dancer. She has competed in and choreographed for several competitions throughout her dancing career. Mrs. Bethany has been married to her husband, Jeremiah, for 7 years, and they have 2 Children, Levi-8 & Lydia-3. She is excited to continue teaching for Season 8 at Studio H Dance Company!

Heather McGuire

Mrs. Heather is from Lester Alabama, and she joined us as one of our acro teachers in 2019. Mrs. Heather was a cheerleader from the age of 5 throughout high school. She was also an award winning JV and varsity cheerleading coach at the high school level. She is married to Troy McGuire, and they have 4 children, Kenzie, Briley, Hensley Belle and Nolan. Mrs. Heather is a special education teacher at a local elementary school, and she enjoys photography in her spare time.

Chloe Holt

Mrs. Chloe is from Madison, AL, and this is her first year teaching at SHDC! Mrs. Chloe has been dancing since she was two years old, and she has grown up as a competitive dancer. Throughout her competition years, she has won several scholarships, as well as getting to work with famous choreographers. Mrs. Chloe lived in Nashville as a professional dancer, and was in a hip-hop company based out of LA. She has trained with choreographers such as Jenelle Ginestra, Phil Wright, Teddy Forance, and many more of the industry's top choreographers and dancers. She has assisted choreographers and traveled with Hollywood Dance Jamz as well. Mrs. Chloe is married to Grant Holt, and they have two for babies, Piper and Winnie. Fun fact, she is also a hairstylist. Miss Chloe is one of our company choreographers, and we are so excited to have her full-time this season. 

Mrs. Valerie joined us in 2023, and the dancers call her Mrs. Val. She is from Athens, AL, and is an ER Nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is married to Rusty Shutt and has two children, Ruby & Colt. She was a gymnast as well as danced as a child and also competed in volleyball through high school. She will be teaching our Boys Ninja classes, Tiny Hip Hop, and Tumble 1.

Tessa Jackson

Miss Tessa is new to the Studio H family this year, but she is no stranger to dance. She started dance when she was 3 and has danced for 20 years so far. Miss Tessa has grown up studying dance from famous instructors as well as competing with her studio. She will be working with our Company Team as well as teaching Jazz 1&2 and Hip Hop 2 this year. 

Michaela Daughdrill

Mrs. Michaela grew up in Indiana dancing, tumbling, figure skating, and cheering. At 14, she moved to Huntsville, AL where she met her husband, Coby. She was on her middle school dance team, and cheered for Buckhorn High school.
Mrs. Michaela has 3 years previous tumble & cheer coaching experience. She now homeschools her three girls, Kynlee, Leighton, and Lorelai, who are all SHDC company dancers. She is excited to be teaching some of our Tiny Classes this year as well as Tumble 2.
